I have just recently started an online business that doesnt require sell, stocking, delivering or house parties. It is an awesome way to make some money and improve your health. I can't really give you all the details but you can get more at this website.

Let me try to be your guru as I've been through this before ...

1) Ebay
2) Affiliate programs
3) online store

those are the 3 areas you want to get into. Nevermind any links to other sites promising this and that. YOU want to be the boss. Grow your business from the ground up and you will be most successful that way (good advice).

First I want to say, it is smart of you to consider owning your own business as this is where the money is made. Your potential is unlimited opposed to working in a factory it IS limited to potential earnings.

1) Ebay - buying low and selling high. No different than playing in the markets like stocks or currencies. But here you have much smaller risk. Businesses always offer the least amount of risk but require the most amount of work. Stocks for example, would be the opposite. So starting your own online business I do highly encouarge as I consider it a safe investment ...

How to sell on Ebay? I choose Ebay as your prime marketplace to sell your goods because it surely is. It draws all the traffic to your "store" at no cost to you so use that as an advantage. The disadvantage however are paying the fees to auction your goods. Now lets begin ... there are 3 ways to profit on Ebay that I will explain ... 1a) "breakdown" ... 1b) "bulk" ... 1c) "creation".

1a) Breakdown = purchasing a product that requires to be broken down in order to sell at a profit. For example, purchase a case of collectible trading cards. A case consists of 1 case = 6 boxes = 36 packs in each box = 15 cards in each pack. By purchasing this CASE, you break it down to the SINGLE cards that you will be selling. Profit is made by the time you put in to breaking that down as well as how heavy the market is for that product (for example, Magic the Gathering is a more popular CCG (collectible card game) than Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So you want to choose a popular product to sell! Sport cards are also the same way. However, the market is not as popular right now as it used to be when Lebron James was drafted and everybody wanted his rookie card. So understanding the market is very important to high revenues. This may require a lot of research on your behalf.

1b) Bulk = Purchasing 100 rings for $100 and expecting each to sell for $1.50 each on average. My sister had a Ring business on Ebay. Very successful. She would purchase rings in bulk at $1 each, auction them off and get up to $20 on a ring! The downside to purchasing in bulk (this happens to breakdown as well) is that you will be left will a bunch of unsellable merchandise. Its the stuff nobody wants. Rest assured though, you can always get rid of them by selling that "junk" in bulk as well. If nobody will buy 1 bad men's ring, somebody WILL buy 20 bad men's rings. Oh and I should also mention Space Requirement for you and your business. I will mention a little later. Another example of Bulk is purchasing somebodys collection of video games. They have 30 games and a game system you may be able to buy for $200. Sell the game system for $50, sell the rest of the games individually at $7, you make $60 profit on the $200 investment. Also an example of a breakdown.

(Im going to fill you in on an Ebay business I had)

I sold collectible trading cards. After 6 months I became the top 10 biggest sellers in the Toys and Hobbies Department. I went through $35,000 in sales a week. lol thats a lot right? I had 7 employees including 1 manager. When your business grows, or even when you start, first you need to research the web for the cheapest supplies for your business. Starting a business takes SO much work and you're constantly improving it, and you need to MANAGE it as you go along. In my example, I needed bubble wrap envelopes. I purchased normal envelopes and bubble wrap rolls. I would have one of my employees cut the bubble wrap roll, wrap it around the cards, tape it, and place it in the envelope. This was the cheapest way of doing it which is why I started out this way. However, I noticed that by purchasing actual bubble-wrapped envelopes I would save the emplyees XX amount of time, and in business TIME is MONEY. So after calculations I agreed that this would be best for the business (and more professional). You also need SPACE. That will become a major concern for your business. At the time I rented a 2-story 5-bedroom house. Each bedroom + the living room was occupied with tables, computers, and empty boxes / wrappers. I needed to expand. Eventually I hired people through the newspaper and had them work at home with my manager dealing with that problem. I also had family members (people you can trust!) theres so much to teach. You want people you can trust to work for you is one thing. Space is another. Upgrading is another. And .. .wages if you expand. I ended up paying them by the amount of work they put in as this is what my manager advised me to do if they will be working at home. I RAN OUT OF ROOM. Sorry I cant cover other subjects. Email me for the rest ...
